Unlocking the Secrets of How to Manifest a Salary Raise & Job Promotion
Are you feeling undervalued and frustrated with your current salary? Do you dream about finally getting the job promotion you think you deserve?
Don’t worry; I’m here to help. The question of how to manifest a salary raise or job promotion is not only one I often hear but also easy for me to answer. After many years as a team leader, with experience on both sides of salary negotiations, I can provide valuable insights on how to manifest the salary and career you want (and deserve!)
Here are my top tips on how to manifest a better salary and your next job promotion.
To manifest a salary raise, you need to work on your manifestation blocks first. If you do this, your salary negotiations will not only be much easier but also successful. Once you solve your abundance blocks, you will have the confidence to take this often challenging step.
That’s why this post will concentrate on exactly this. That said, this post is part of an entire series about job manifestation. If you are intersted to learn more, you can read this post here: How to Manifest a Job.
Why You Need to Overcome Your Major Abundance Blocks Before Asking for a Pay Raise
If you’re planning to ask your boss for a pay raise or you are trying to get promoted to a better job, it’s important that you align your subconscious mind with your job or salary goal.
So many people aren’t even aware that they have abundance blocks or so-called manifestation blocks. And therefore, they don’t know how to clear them.
But don’t worry; this is not as complicated as it sounds.
Abundance blocks are things like limiting beliefs, negative emotions, or even your environment that stands between you and the goal you want to manifest. In this case, the salary raise.
For this, you need to understand that our subconscious mind is the driver of most of our actions. So if you hold some limiting beliefs like “I’m not worthy of a higher salary,” you are going to have a hard time convincing your boss that you should get paid more.
That’s why working on your manifestation blocks and limiting beliefs around money should be your number one priority when you want to get a pay raise or job promotion.
Sure, you should also do the best job you can and go the extra mile at work, but your subconscious mind holds the key to all of this.
I speak from personal experience here. I don’t have a high school diploma, yet, year after year, I have managed to outperform my top-qualified colleagues with my salary.
Before I started my own business, selling my books as a manifestation book author and here with this blog, SelfMadeLadies, I brought home multiple 6-figure salaries for years.
But my wage negotiations did not always go so well. That only changed when I deliberately started using the law of attraction and working on my money blocks.
So let me show you how you can do the same.
How to Overcome Abundance Blocks & Manifest a Better Salary or Job
There are a few ways to clear salary manifestation blocks; most often, they come in the form of limiting beliefs.
Step 1: You need to change your biggest limiting beliefs around money
A limiting belief is something you learn at an early stage in life. Usually, you take them over from your parents, so try to remember things your parents told you about money when you were younger.
If you need to dig a bit deeper to find your limiting beliefs, you can use any manifestation method that helps with reflection, such as meditation, visualization, or journaling.
With these tools, you can identify your core beliefs and go to step two, where you change these beliefs that are holding you back from getting a better job or making more money.
So if you have negative feelings or thoughts that arise, such as…
“I don’t deserve this job promotion”
“It’ll never happen for me to earn more money”
“people with my job don’t make that kind of money”
…then you have identified some limiting beliefs you need to work on.
Step 2: Remove the limiting money belief from your subconscious mind
This is a process that usually takes a bit longer, but I always start it by questioning the belief and reminding myself that it is not helpful.
For example, we often hear that money doesn’t grow on trees. But, in fact, it does! Money is made out of paper, and paper is made out of trees.
This is just a playful way to tell your subconscious that “money does not grow on trees” is a false statement. It’s all about convincing yourself (and your subconscious) that a limiting belief is wrong and not useful. Don’t overthink this process; the subconscious is pretty easy to “convince.”
Because it loves repetition, the more often you tell t a story, the more likely it is to believe this “new” money story.
You can then use different manifestation techniques to deepen the message, such as guided meditations (click here to download your free session) or positive affirmations (more on that later in this post).
You could also try visualizations. Find a place where you will be undisturbed. Allow yourself to relax by focusing on your breathing or the present moment.
Once you are nicely relaxed, start to imagine yourself earning more money. Imagine making the amount of money that you feel you desire. Or think about talking to your boss about a salary raise or job promotion; imagine being very confident in the negotiation.
Once it becomes ingrained in your subconscious that you are worthy of more money and that your life is abundant, your thoughts, words, and actions will all align with this goal.
In my manifestation book, Become the CEO of Your Dream Life, I cover these steps in much more detail. So if you feel you have some blocks to work on, reading my book will help you.
How to Take Inspired Action Toward Your Salary or Job Promotion Goals
Once you worked on your abundance blocks, it is time to take real-world action to align with your new self. Doing so will reaffirm your newfound confidence and put the law of attraction to work for you.
There is this false belief that believing and waiting for the universe to deliver is enough when manifesting. But manifestation actually comes from the verb “manifestare”, meaning that YOU make it real.
So inspired actions are key when you want to manifest a higher salary.
Sometimes, we need to acquire new skills or provide more value to make more money. For example, a cashier who only knows how to work the cash can (according to most companies’ standards) only be paid a normal cashier’s wage.
However, a cashier who knows how to write the schedule, order products, manage people, and close the store can be paid a manager wage.
But for this, you need to know you’re able and worthy of receiving such a position. And the best way to prove this to yourself, your subconscious, and of course your boss, is by taking aligned actions.
When you get a pay raise, you will be expected to take care of more responsibility. An inspired action could be that you start taking on these responsibilities today!
How to Use Affirmations for A Salary Increase
As I mentioned above, using positive affirmations is a great way to reprogram your subconscious mind and align yourself with your new salary goal.
Affirmations are positive statements that you can repeat regularly with the intention of making them a reality. They are used to reprogram your subconscious mind, change limiting beliefs and focus the energy on your desired outcome.
Here are a few affirmations to help you increase your salary:
“I am worthy of a higher salary and I am confident in my abilities to manifest it.”
“I am open to receiving a salary increase and new job opportunities.”
“I am grateful for the abundance of financial success in my career.”
“I trust the universe to provide me with a raise that aligns with my worth.”
“I am a valuable asset to my company and my salary reflects my worth.”
“I am proud of my achievements and my salary increase is a reflection of my hard work.”
Affirmations are most effective when they are personalized to your specific situation, and written in the present tense. Also repeat your affirmations regularly, ideally multiple times a day, and make sure to keep a positive attitude and belief in what you are saying.
Go the Extra Mile at Work (But the Smart Way)
It’s important to remember not to limit yourself to only doing what is expected of you.
When you act in accordance with an abundant mindset, you start to notice abundance coming your way. That’s just how the law of attraction works.
And I’m not talking about countless hours of extra work that will bring you to the edge of burnout. Oh, no, we want to do it the smart way.
Don’t be afraid to pick up some responsibility that you see is being left unattended. In every business, there is an opportunity for people to prove their worthiness of more money by providing more value.
Also, don’t be afraid to step into a different job or company that will pay you the money you are worthy of.
Here are two posts that will help you with this step:
Fortune favors the bold, and you may need to become a new type of person to get the things you feel you deserve.
And Then: Ask For The Pay Raise Or The Job Promotion
Remember, everything starts with your subconscious mind. What you believe you deserve, you will attract. The first step in manifesting abundance is to change your subconscious beliefs.
Then, you will naturally start to act differently and see things differently, which will ultimately result in an external life change.
Once you change your beliefs, you change your state. Living in a state of abundance will result in experiencing more abundance. But at the end of the day, without asking for it, it’s very unlikely that you will get a job promotion or a pay raise.
Just ask for it! You can’t really lose anything, right?
And since you have now worked on your abundance blocks, removed your major limiting beliefs, and proven to your subconscious (and your boss) that you are worth it by taking inspired actions, it’s going to be easy.
