What Is The 55×5 Manifesting Method & How Does It Work

In my Manifesting Q&As I regularly do with the lovely women in our community, I get asked many questions about the different manifestation methods and how you can manifest faster by using them. And a question I often hear is what is the 55×5 manifesting method and how can I use this technique to manifest my dreams?

The 55×5 manifestation method, sometimes also gets called an ancient manifesting ritual, is a mix of manifestation affirmations and journaling. You write down your goals, as an affirmative statement, 55 times and five days in a row. 

And this law of attraction technique really gets a lot of attention right now; that’s why I decided to review it and give you my insights as a manifestation coach. So let’s have a look at how the 55×5 manifesting method works, and let’s also find out if this Law of Attraction technique really works. 

How Does The 55×5 Manifesting Affirmations Formula Work

Let me give you some 55×5 method examples.

As already mentioned above, the 555 manifestation formula is basically this; you decide what you want and write down your goal or dream 55 times.

And you do this for five days in a row and then watch the magic (or manifestation) happen.

But you don’t just write your goal down; you actually leverage the power of affirmative statements.

The Law of Attraction 55×5 Technique in 3 Simple Steps

Step 1: Define Your Goal

Think about exactly what you want. When manifesting, you need to become crystal clear about your goals before you start using any manifesting techniques. 

Ask yourself what you want, but also why you want it.

Become pretty specific with your why behind the goal, and remember, you have to write your desires 55 times for five days in a row; that’s quite a lot. So if you can express your desire in a short but specific sentence, that’s the best way to do it.

Step 2: Formulate Your Affirmation

As I said, the 55×5 method is basically a mix of two Law of Attraction tools; affirmations and journaling, and you will start by formulating a powerful affirmation statement for your goal.

Make sure that you formulate your desired goal as follows:

  • In the present tense.
  • Short and specific.
  • Positive.

To make the whole thing even more powerful, express gratitude. Gratitude is an essential part of manifestation and the law of attraction (because this universal law states that like attracts like).

Step 3: Write your Affirmation 55 Times For 5 Days

Now the point is that you take your time each day to write down your affirmation, your wish, 55 times.

You can just use a piece of paper for this, or you make this your daily journaling exercise. It doesn’t really matter.

And this is the point where I personally question this method and don’t really recommend it. In fact, I believe that the 55×5 method is a waste of time.

And here is why…

There are many of these random number manifestation methods that have become very popular on TikTok in recent years.

And I always question the randomness of the numbers… Why 55 times?

There is also the 33×3, 777, and 369 method. And they all teach basically the same but with other numbers. And that’s also where I see a problem with this manifestation method:

So many people don’t understand something fundamental when it comes to manifesting and using any of these law of attraction tools. Many people do believe that any of these manifesting techniques, methods, or tools ARE the actual manifestation. And that’s not true.

Or maybe they believe this is just magic, and if you write down your dream 55 times (with THE magic number), the desired goal will just appear. That’s not how this works.

But let’s see if we can still gain something from this method…

How Do You Use the 55×5 Method for Manifesting

So the 55×5 manifesting ritual works on the same proven principle, as any manifesting tool, by helping you to send the right signals to your subconscious mind. 

Your subconscious will then do everything to bring you into this new “reality”; this is the basic principle of how the law of attraction works.

So yes, affirmations have been proven to work, and so do many studies that suggest that journaling is a powerful tool, but how about this specific affirmation writing process?

I have my own opinion about the effectiveness of it but before I give you my own take on it, let’s find out if there is some evidence that this manifesting method actually DOES work.
 

55×5 Method Success Stories

As I mentioned above, 55×5 is based on the same principles as any other manifesting tool. It’s all about sending the right signals to our subconscious. And getting vibrational aligned with your goals. 

If writing an affirmation on a piece of paper 55 times helps you with this, that’s great. But please don’t confuse all these manifestation rituals with the actual manifesting process because there is much more to it.

So yes, o course, there are a lot of success stories out there from women who say 55×5 has helped them to manifest money, or the love of their life, or maybe the dream job.

But there is often a bigger story behind these 55×5 success stories. So you just don’t know what else they did to get better alignment, you don’t know what backstory they had, how many (or few) manifestation blocks to overcome…

Don’t compare your story with their story. That’s really what I want to say.

Affirmations, journaling, or manifesting techniques such as 55×5 can be all powerful tools. But in the end, they are just tools. 

For example, I’m not saying that I have manifested my soul-mate ONLY BECAUSE I glued my relationship goals on my vision board. Of course, this supported the entire process, but it needed the activation of many different universal laws, I had to overcome a bunch of abundance blocks, and I used more than just one tool to get there.

So when I see these TikTokers make claims like “how to manifest all you want in 24 hours with 55×5” I get really upset. This is giving false hopes to many women out there. 

To successfully attract more abundance, you need to trigger your subconscious power the right way. And that’s where I see the problem with the 55×5 manifestation method.

Why The 55×5 Method Might NOT Work For You

Let me make an example: I know that many people love to use 55×5 to manifest money.

But honestly, do you think that writing down 55 times the affirmation “I’m rich” will just make you wake up in the morning of day six, realizing that you suddenly became a millionaire?

Haha, I guess not.

Of course, affirmations are powerful in reprogramming your subconscious mind, but in the end, it takes many more steps to make become a millionaire. It’s also not just about changing your mindset or overcoming blocks; the last (and most important) step in the manifestation process is all about taking inspired actions.

It doesn’t help to write your wish 55 times in your manifesting journal and then do nothing.

You just can take impactful enough actions in five days, especially not when you are busy writing your affirmations out 55 times.

I think it’s way better to write down your goal only once a day, or maybe even five times a day, but very consciously, and visualize yourself how you already have achieved that goal. And try to reflect on possible blocks and then do something to make your dreams come true.

Because even then, you have to take the next step; you have to take action towards your goals.

The belief alone will not manifest your desires.

A Manifesting Method That Brings Real Results

I’m all about having a good return on investment in every activity I do – that’s true for my business and even more when manifesting.

When you manifest, your investment is your time and energy.

I often get asked about the 55×5 method from my readers and students in the courses I teach, and that’s what I usually recommend investing their time better:

Power manifestation 5×5 is a tool I teach in my flagship course and my bestselling book, “Become the CEO of Your Dream Life.” It’s something I created to support my students to take more action, as so many struggle with this part.

But please don’t confuse it with any of the random number methods; I do not teach hope-based but an action-based manifestation method, so the 5×5 method really makes you work for your results. But it’s time and energy worth investing.

For this, I got inspired by the rule of five. This is a technique I learned in my training with success coach Jack Canfield, and I find it one of the most powerful tools you can use to achieve your goals faster.

It is a commitment to take five actions every day that will bring you closer to your goal or dream.

If you have read my manifesting book, then you know for sure that I am convinced that the law of action is actually more important in the manifestation process than the law of attraction. And therefore, you understand why I don’t like these other numerical methods. Because all action you take there is writing your goal down.

Sure, the 55×5 method can still work at a subconscious level and help you to change your vibrations, but only through action will you reach your goal.

And think about what signals you send to your subconscious mind when you take five steps every day towards your goal. It’s unbeatable.

So if you have 15-30 minutes to invest in the 55×5 manifesting method for five days, why not spend the same time for five days doing something that actually brings you closer to your dream?

And not every one of these steps has to be super big. The American self-help book author Robert Collier once said:

Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.

And the 5×5 actions are already 25. Twenty-five steps closer to your goal. And who knows, maybe you will see how powerful it can be to take inspired action every day, and you will continue with it. Or your dream has already come true after five days.

In that case, set the next one and a bigger one because we should never stop dreaming big.
 

How Do Manifestation Techniques Help You Manifest Your Dreams

So let’s quickly recap how any of these methods and tools can support you in the manifestation process. At the end of the day, it’s YOU that have to decide what works best for you or not. As a manifestation coach, I can only give you suggestions.

Even the 55×5 manifesting formula can work if you use this method correctly and take enough time for it. And if you don’t neglect the other important steps.

But there are maybe better ways to use your time when you want to manifest big dreams. Sometimes it helps to reflect on yourself and your situation first, and not just follow every trend on TikTok because everyone else is doing it.

And in the end, whatever tool or technique you choose for your manifestation routine, make sure it follows these three rules:

  1. It triggers the right positive emotions in you. Manifesting is ALL about being on the right frequency and aligned with your goals and dreams. So only through your emotions can you really access this state. 
  2. It really does what you need. You might want to choose a different tool for becoming clear on what it is what you want, tackling an abundance block, or when you want to signal your subconscious mind where it should get you. 
  3. Choosing a tool that gives you the best results for your goal. Choose the one that you can actually keep up with; your time and energy are valuable. Use the wisely.

It’s ok to believe that writing your affirmations 55×5 on paper will help you reach your goal and manifest your dreams faster. But if you end up doing ONLY this because you just don’t have the time, then this method is just not the right one for you.

So, yes, even if I don’t like all these random number manifestation methods, I don’t say that 55×5 is not working.

But before you choose this law of attraction ritual and invest your time, you might want to consider that there is a better option for you out there. You see, there is so much more to manifesting than writing some affirmations on paper, as you do with the 55×5 manifestation method. And I hope this post helped you to gain some clarity and make a more educated decision on what manifestation methods to use in your own routine.
