This is so true! If you can imagine yourself, achieving something or having or doing something, you can manifest this into your life.
But can you really design your dream life? Of course you can! Look around yourself. Everything you have in your life was first an idea or imagination. Everything you really wanted in your life, became a reality.
So you are actually manifesting all these things into your life already and now all you need to do, is to manifest on purpose. Read on when you want to learn how you can exactly design the dream life you always wanted (and deserve!)
WHAT DO YOU REALLY WANT IN YOUR LIFE?
See, If you want to change something in your life, first you have to know what it is, that you want to change. You need to have a clear picture in your head. Otherwise, you will get to places, but you might not like these places.
You can achieve everything you want. So why should you let yourself drift through life without direction?
Give yourself direction. The best way to do this is to focus on and think about your ideal life. Writing down your dream life will let your subconscious mind know, what you want in life.
You will identify what is really important for you and what not. If you could achieve everything. With no limitations and no boundaries. How would your life look like?
Ask yourself questions like the ones below and then write down the answers:
- In what house would you live
- How would your partner look like? What characteristics would she or he have?
- How much money would you have? And what would you do with it?
- Who or what would you support?
- Where would you live?
- What would you invest your time in?
- Where would you invest your money in?
- Where would you travel for vacation? And how would you go there?
Don’t be surprised, if you find out, that your real drivers are not really what you thought so far. That exercise will let you focus on your inner world.
Listen to yourself. You know that you are finished when you really feel excited about your future life and feel the urge to jump right up and do something to achieve these goals.
Because taking action is critical here, but I will explain this at the end of this post. Let's first have a look at how you can "design" your dream life.
THIS IS YOUR DREAM LIFE NOT OTHERS (JUST A KIND REMINDER)
Don’t feel obligated to write something down just because it’s expected of you to have, do or be a certain way.
This was one of my main abundance blockers for half my life. Looking back, I think because of this, I did miss out on so many awesome things.
I had a very narrow belief system, I was very awkward as a kid and insecure, not good in school and got into trouble a lot. People around me always told me; "you will never achieve anything."
Then there was my family. My parents are lovely people, they cared for us kids, and we had everything we needed, nothing wrong to say about them except that their money mindset was not really the best.
They always had „just enough“ because that’s what they believed. They didn’t need more, because it was enough.
And I lived by this „set rules“ for a long time. I never really „made it“ because that’s what everyone told me, and I always "just had enough“ money.
And I was soooo freaking unhappy. Still, it took me a long time until I changed my life (or let’s say until I actually figured out how to change my life).
Today I can only laugh at everyone that told me once, that I will not make it! Sorry guys, need to disappoint you here, this didn’t happen!
So you see, you should NEVER listen to others when they want to tell you how your life will look like or should look like.
This is all about YOU!

DON’T LISTEN TO YOUR DOUBTS
As much as you should not listen to others, you should not listen to your nasty inner voice of doubts.
During the process and designing your dream life, you will most probably have thoughts like:
“You will never achieve this!”
“You are stupid doing that; it will never become real!”
“Be realistic, girl!”
Ignore this doubts. They are useless. No, they are even worse, they may be the main reason why you are not achieving what you want.
But I tell you, YOU can achieve everything!
These inner voices have been anchored in your subconscious mind. And there are two things your subconscious mind hates the most: change, and leaving your comfort zone.
And both you need to do to get whatever you want.
The good thing is, as strong as your subconscious mind is, it is as stupid. So why not reprogramming it to success? Read in this post, the subconscious vs. conscious mind, how you can win this battle inside your head.
I tell you girl, deep out of my peacenik's heart, that's a battle worth fighting!
WHAT IS YOUR SUCCESS PERSONA
Now that you know exactly what you want, and you have a clear picture of your ideal life, your dream life, you need to become the person that is living this life.
For this, you need to first think about, how a person that is living your dream life, actually is and acts. There is an easy exercise you can do.
Take a specific area from your dream life, let’s say you want to be slim and fit and have the body of a fitness model.
I love to use examples of weight loss / having your dream body because I think most of us girls can relate to this.
Now think about a person that has a fitness model figure, or even works as a fitness model. What do you think is the lifestyle of this person?
- Is she eating sushi for lunch or sitting at Mc Donald's?
- Is she working out in her morning routine or sleeping in till 10 am?
- Is she going to bed early to be well rested the next morning or partying all night, with cocktails and greasy takeouts?
- Is she very negative or does she have more positive thoughts?
I guess the answers are pretty clear.
Try to get into that person and live her life. Think of all the characteristics you may have, the people you hang out and the priorities you set in your life.
BECOME THE PERSON YOU WANT TO BE
The great thing about this process, it is already triggering the right actions in your subconscious mind.
You already changed, you may don’t feel like it right now, but you will soon realize, that you act differently, that you make different decisions and that you attract certain people and circumstances into your life.
This is great, and you are now on the way to become that person that is living your dream life.
Pretty exciting, huh?
Now the even better news is, you can make this process even faster. You can proactively live that life, concentrating on the characteristics of this person and use visualization techniques to bring yourself into that state.
I love to write 1-2 pages in my journal every morning where I describe that „dream life“ and I always write in the present tense.
It is such a powerful exercise, and I can really tell how my life changes when I forget about it for a few days.
ARE YOU READY TO TAKE SOME ACTION?
You still think this sounds too good to be true? That you can just go out there and design your dream life? That you can write down how you want your life to be like, and then become this person?
Think about the quote from Napoleon Hill, I added at the beginning of this post "whatever the mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve,“ this is how our world works, and it always did.
Let’s have a look at flying, this was just a big dream once, and now we do it all the time. I can board a plane in London, watch a movie, sleep a few hours and then wake up in Los Angeles the next day.
If this is possible, how likely do you think it’s possible that you reach your dream life?
I don’t know what your BIG DREAM is, but I think flying, back then in 1903, was a very ambitious goal. And it all started with a dream the Wright brothers had.
But I want to be honest with you. It is in fact not easy to become that person that is living your dream life.
It takes a bit more than just writing down how your awesome new life will be like and how you will drink mimosas with your girls, after you shopped your but off all day, in your favorite city…
It will take three key elements:
- The right mindset and belief system
- The right motivation to change
- You taking action
If it were so easy, we would all live in our huge mansions, drive great cars and have more money than we could spend. That’s for sure.
There is one crucial component to success which most people are not willing to invest.
You actually have to take action, and that’s where most personal growth and law of attraction gurus out there are not telling you the whole picture.
It’s not only wishful thinking; it’s not only manifesting, believing and just receiving. No, you have to take massive action!
Most people are only willing to complain. But change and effort and action are unacceptable to them. If you are one of them, It is time to change (or to leave my blog. Your decision darling! 💖 )

And trust me, I really know how it feels. I was there for sooooo long. And my „comfort zone“ was on the super safe side.
Not because I hate change (that was never my problem), but I was scared as hell of everything. Life, success, well, even of flying. I didn't board a plane for over ten years (and missed out of so many beautiful trips).
I can tell you, as long as you stay inside your comfort zone nothing significant will happen. It doesn't mean that your life will be bad, but it will be no more than average. (I'd say it would be pretty boring too.)
Remember my dear parents that always had „just enough money“?
I make now way more than they both earned together in their highest paid jobs. And thanks to this I can experience so much awesomeness in my life; travel to the most beautiful places, always travel first class and staying in the best hotels, living in my dream apartment and do whatever I like, whenever I like.
Experiences my hard working parents never had, and you will probably never have them if you stay in your „comfort zone.“
