Well… it’s true, but it’s also a bit simplistic.

Your mindset, meaning the set of beliefs and attitudes you default to, shapes what your subconscious allows you to see, pursue, and receive.

A fixed mindset sounds like:

  • “I’m just not the kind of person who can do that.”
  • “I’ve always been bad with money… It’s just who I am.”

Whereas a growth mindset says:

  • “I don’t know how yet, but I can learn.”
  • “Maybe this is new for me, but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible.”

When your subconscious mind is rigid or rooted in scarcity, your subconscious quite literally filters OUT opportunities (thanks to your brain’s RAS, the reticular activating system).

It only shows you what fits the beliefs you’ve already installed.

So if you:

  • Constantly complain about money…
  • Scroll social media comparing yourself to everyone else…
  • Stay in procrastination loops instead of taking small aligned actions…

Identify one tiny habit that would align you more with your dream life.
