When I have noticed something over the years as a manifestation coach, most successful people have one thing in common: they all have a morning routine.

A morning routine has a lot of health benefits for your body, your mind, and it makes you more productive throughout the day. Of course, all the things we can use when we want to make our dream life a reality with the Law of Attraction.

Are you ready to commit yourself to join me on the 5 am club and set your alarm clock to an early rise, from now on? Because if so, you are going to start a Morning Routine tomorrow morning, which will skyrocket your manifesting success!

And hey, you don’t need to be scared, starting a morning routine is not all that hard when you have all the information you need. And you will find them in this LoA morning routine guide. So here is your ultimate morning routine guide for more Law of Attraction success.

Why You Should Start a Morning Routine for More Law of Attraction Success

A morning routine does not only give you more time for yourself, the time you can use to work on your mindset, no, a morning routine will also help you to engage more with the Law of Attraction, and you can invest these hours in the morning to use different Law of Attraction tools.

In the early morning, right after getting up, we are mostly still free from the worries of everyday life and also generally more receptive.

So the early morning hours are perfect for our visualizations with our vision board, some journaling, or a meditation or hypnosis session.

But not only that, we signal our subconscious mind right at the beginning of our waking phase that it should concentrate on our desires, dreams, and goals.

All they long.

But before I give you more tips on how to successfully incorporate manifestation and the Law of Attraction into your morning routine, here are some other important benefits and tips on how to find motivation for your morning routine.

Other Benefits of Having a Morning Routine

I believe that having a daily routine, especially a morning routine, is crucial for a productive and successful day. But a morning routine has much more to offer, in fact, the benefits of a morning routine are almost endless, and many studies are confirming them.

Benefits of a Morning Routine for Your Health

Having more time in the morning can help you with your overall health. Especially when you choose your activities wisely. Here are only a few ideas of things you could do in your morning routine for a healthy start.

Have a Morning Workout

It’s a fact that people that work out later in the day, more likely skip their workout. So implementing a workout into your morning routine is a great way to make sure that you actually get it done.

For an extra health boost, try a fasted morning workouts. Only have a glass or two of water (maybe a coffee) but no food or drinks with calories. Weight loss is guaranteed!

Take the Time for Healthy Eating Habits

It is no accident that I did not write a healthy breakfast; I’m a firm believer in the health benefits of Intermittent Fasting, so no breakfast at my house.

But regardless of when you choose to eat, having some time actually to prepare healthy nutritious food at home is golden when it comes to a healthy lifestyle.

Good Night Sleep

Long-term success for a morning routine has a lot to do with the quality of your sleep. You just can’t keep that habit up when you always fall short on rest.

So most people that implement a morning routine long-term will also automatically take care that they have healthy sleep habits and, more importantly, get enough sleep.

Benefits of a Morning Routine for Your Mind

Having a morning routine can do a lot for a healthy mind. It takes willpower actually to get up at 5 am every day, and having this willpower will make you a stronger person overall.

But not only this, several studies are showing that morning people are happier people.

Getting up and actually doing something just for yourself (whatever this is for your personal growth with the Law of Attraction, your health, and fitness, or to build and grow your own business) has a massive impact on how you feel the rest of the day.

There are many activities you can add to your routine that are especially beneficial for your mindset, such as the manifestation tools I mentioned above, under the point, why you should start a morning routine for more Law of Attraction success.

Starting your day with a few hours ahead of all the stress and everyday life and take the time for yourself will also make you more relaxed.

Benefits of a Morning Routine for Your Career and Business

In case you have your own business or like to start one or maybe just a side hustle for some extra cash, a morning routine is a perfect platform to do so.

A few hours before everyone else is up and running, and you are more likely to get disturbed, you can take these early morning hours just for yourself.

But it can also help with your 9-5 job success. Think about how relaxed and motivated you will start your workday after having a few hours just for yourself.

Also, how much time you can spend on your personal growth and mindset have a lot to do with how successful you will be in other areas of your life, such as your career.

Biologist Christoph Randler surveyed 367 university students, asking what time of day they were most energetic and how willing and able they were to take action to change a situation to their advantage.

A higher percentage of the morning people agreed with statements that indicate proactivity, such as “I spend time identifying long-range goals for myself” and “I feel in charge of making things happen.”

Randler says, “when it comes to business success, morning people hold the better cards. My earlier research showed that they tend to get better grades in school, which get them into better colleges, which then leads to better job opportunities.

Morning people also anticipate problems and try to minimize them, my survey showed. They’re proactive.”

Many studies have linked this trait, proactivity, with better job performance, greater career success, and higher wages.

How a Morning Routine Can Skyrocket Your Productivity

There are also many studies confirming that a morning routine is a great way to boost your productivity.

The morning is different from the rest of the day. Your body is different and your mind too.

  • Your body-height is different in the morning, as wired as it sounds.
  • Your voice is different in the morning.
  • Your hormones are different in the morning.

All this affects you.

But what has the even bigger impact, is the differences in your mental state.

  • Your motivation is higher in the morning.
  • Your self-discipline is better in the morning.
  • Your creativity is stronger in the morning.

Students Get Better Grades in the Morning

One group of people who have been the subject of hard data studies about mornings and productivity are students. Working with a huge amount of data, Nolan G. Pope (2016) found that students have higher GPAs in math and English class when they are enrolled in morning classes compared to afternoon classes.

When he isolated various factors, the results had nothing to do with male versus female students, whether their parents were well educated, or even whether the students were generally high or low performers. Students in morning classes simply did better on average.

In case you are a student, you should know that research conducted by Texas University found that students who consistently woke up early each day actually scored better test scores and overall grade points, in comparison to those who slept in all the time.

People Self-interrupt More in the Morning

In a study of adults, Laura Dabbish and her co-authors (2001) found that knowledge workers self-interrupt more in the morning than in the afternoon.

Self-interruptions are interruptions that are not caused by external factors. For example, taking a break to get a cup of coffee is a self-interruption. Checking Facebook is a self-interruption.

But looking at your email inbox when a notification of a new message appears on screen is not a self-interruption because the notification, which is external incite it.

A major reason people self-interrupt is that they remember something they need to do. So maybe the brain is firing so rapidly and thinking about so many things at once in the morning that people tend to have a hard time not letting it interrupt their work.

This means your brain is way more active in the morning hours. When you have tasks that need to get done, the morning is perfect for these.

Self Discipline is Higher in the Morning

Our bodies have limited reserves for fueling our productivity. Studies have shown that when our energy and self-control are depleted, our motivation wavers, making it difficult to focus on tasks and follow through to completion.

Researchers at the University of Nottingham recently published findings from their exploration of 83 separate studies on energy and self-control. What they found will change the way you start your day.

The researchers found that self-control and energy are not only linked but also finite, daily resources that tire much like a muscle. Even though we don’t always realize it, as the day goes on, we have increased difficulty executing self-control and focusing on our work.

As self-control wears out, we feel tired and find tasks to be more difficult, and our mood sours.

This exhaustion of self-control, as the day goes on, kills your productivity, and it makes the morning hours when self-control is highest, the most important hours of the day.

Showing you the main benefits here in this morning routine guide should be enough to convince you to get started right away, not only when you want to become more successful with the Law of Attraction.

If not, maybe my own story will?

Implementing a morning routine helped me to grow my own business to a totally new level, and I tripled my income along the way.

But not only this, my morning routine helps me to have enough time for my self-care, my personal growth, and to nurture my relationship, besides having a hectic schedule as a solopreneur.

And I truly believe this helped to skyrocket my manifesting success and helped a lot with my Law of Attraction success.

If you type “morning routine” into google, you are getting 16’700’000 hits. Wow. Is a topic worth looking into it, don’t you think so too?

It is really no coincidence that all successful people around the globe have a morning routine. Don’t you want to become one of them?

How to Get Started With a Morning Routine

That’s probably a question I hear the most often when it comes to starting a morning routine. How do I actually get started?

Just getting up earlier and do some random things will not do it. Maybe that would work for a few days or weeks, but it’s not a real routine and, more importantly, you will not have enough motivation to do this long term.

Let alone really get successful in manifesting your dream life!

To get started with a successful law of attraction morning routine, you need the following points:

The Right Motivation to Get Started

You need to know your “why”! Having the right reason is the only way to get started. Just getting up early because everyone else is doing it is not enough.

Getting up at 5 am or earlier is for most people very difficult, and it takes a lot of willpower, so having the right motivation is crucial.

Build the Right Plan

You will also need to build the right plan. The key to your success is to add the right activities to your morning routine.

I will get into more details on ideas for your morning routine, below.

Of course, finding the right activities is only one part of a successful routine. You will also need the correct order and plan in enough time for your activities.

It helps to re-evaluate your plan and change things up every few months.

Keep Up the Motivation

As much as you need the right motivation actually to start a morning routine, you will also need enough motivation to keep it up. Most people don’t have a problem finding the motivation for anything that is new, but how about your long-term success?

How likely will you get up at 5 am in a few weeks, or month, or after a night out with the girls?

Starting a morning routine is one thing, but actually keep it up long term, an entirely different one.

It takes a lot of motivation, and just knowing that many of the successful women out there, such as Michelle Obama, Arianna Huffington, or Oprah are having a morning routine, is probably just not enough motivation.

That’s why I decided to give you some extra tips on how to get yourself that needed kick in your sweet little a** and get out of bed at 5 am (or even earlier!)

Commit Yourself to Your Morning Routine

Commitment is very strong, much stronger than any kind of motivator especially when you commit yourself to someone else.

Think weight loss groups, challenges, etc. They work very well for a reason. When we commit ourselves to others, we feel accountable, and we get the feeling of letting the other person or group down if we don’t do what we committed ourselves to.

This is very powerful and helps us to push to the limit (or at least out of that warm and cozy bed).

I use commitment as a huge motivation push for the ladies that attend my manifestation challenge. And that’s one reason why I had great success with helping women to have more success with the Law of Attraction.

Partner Up on Getting Up Early

As I just mentioned about commitment, having others around you that support you, really helps. A great idea is to partner up with someone for your morning routine. Get your spouse on board or the kids, or even a flatmate.

In case you live alone, you can always partner up with someone outside of your household. Call each other at 5 am as a kind of a wake-up call. Just make sure that you are living in the same time zone, haha.

You could also set up a call at the end of the morning routine and do something like a gratitude session together.

Tell each other how the morning routine was, how great you feel, and what you are grateful for today.

This exercise can actually be very powerful and set you in a great state of gratitude for the rest of the day. And gratitude is an important factor when it comes to the Law of Attraction.

Set Big Goals

My number one secret for motivation is; having huge goals.

I always set myself goals so big that they don’t even seem realistic. In case you have read some of my content about goal-setting, or you purchase my transformational goal-setting workbook, you probably know by now that I don’t believe in setting small goals.

Goals, of course, need to be achievable, somehow. But you can set yourself huge goals that frighten yourself a bit (or even a lot, scarcity works pretty well here), the trick is that you break down that goal into smaller milestones.

The thing with goals is, when they are not large enough, they won’t give you enough motivation to take action, and without taking action, you won’t achieve your goals.

So you see why this is on the list with great ways to keep up the motivation for a morning routine, right?

And why not invest your early morning hours in going through my goal-setting workbook?

It comes with a printable goal-planner, perfect to go after your BIG goals in your future morning routine.

Start Your Morning Routine With Your Favorite Activity

Most people’s morning routine is, on average, 2-3 hours long. This means you probably have some activities there that you prefer over others. Some stuff just has to get done, think about working out, for example.

I tried this, having my workout clothes right next to the bed, and the first thing I did was getting up and doing my kettlebell workout or going to the gym.

Then I realized that I find it so much harder to do my exercise right out of bed, with cold muscles, before having at least 1-2 cups of coffee.

So, of course, this did drag my overall motivation down, and I started to find more and more excuses for not getting up in the morning. I began to skip the workout, and then the whole morning routine.

Now my first activity is a hypnosis session, followed by journaling and some visualization. Still in bed with a strong cup of Italian Espresso.

I decided to make this first hour in the morning, just mine. Some call this the power hour or miracle morning. For me, in this first hour, it is all about the Law of Attraction and concentrating on my manifesting success.

I’m actually looking forward to that every day, and getting up suddenly isn’t all that hard anymore.

Start a New Exciting Project

The problem with a routine is exactly that; it is a routine. And routines can get boring over time.

When you need some extra motivation to get up and do your morning routine, start a new exciting project.

For example, when I started my coaching business and later my blog, a few years back, I quickly realized that getting up at 5 am is not enough anymore. I just needed more time to get all the work done and started our morning routine at 4:30 am.

That was crazy for me; I hated getting up earlier than 7 am, let alone 5 am, it made me literally sick getting up so early. But that new project gave me so much motivation when the alarm went off I nearly jumped out of bed.

So in case you struggle with getting up early, a new exciting project can do wonders.

Morning Routine of Successful People

I hear that question often, how does the morning routine of successful people looks like?

Many of you probably love to hear how the morning routine of successful people looks like. But I will not cover this topic in this guide, let me quickly explain why:

What works for others, maybe not the right thing for you. So just because the CEO of a large tech company may check his emails at 6 am, does that not means that this is the right activity for you to add to your morning routine.

You should always find the right activities for you and test things out. Especially when you want to use your morning routine to have more Law of Attraction success.

There is enough content out there to find your inspiration if you like to. I don’t know many celebrities personally, and the ones I know are probably not the best examples when it comes to having a morning routine. And I just really don’t want to create blog post number 566 001, that shows you Tony Robbins Morning Routine.

On the other hand, it is a fact that almost every successful person around the globe is practicing a kind of morning routine or at least has a morning ritual. And this is definitely no coincidence.

So, as you can see, a morning routine is an excellent opportunity to schedule your daily Law of Attraction routine.

But the morning time is not only suitable to apply the numerous manifestation tools or get aligned with the universe.

A successful Law of Attraction morning routine should also be a platform to review your goals and to take action and make the first step towards your goal.

This can be anything. But here are some ideas that can turn your morning routine into a super successful Law of Attraction routine.

Law of Attraction Tools You Should Try in Your Morning Routine

Meditation

Meditation is a great way to clear out your mind and get you started on a successful day.

There are different meditation methods, but I personally started by using a guided meditation. This just helped me a lot to really get into the process.

In case you are new to meditation and want some tips on how to get started. Or you just want to get more information on how meditation can actually help you with the Law of Attraction, read this post here:

Meditation and Manifestation – Attract More With This Powerful LoA Tool

Visualization

Whether this is a visualization exercise, or you are just working with your vision board in your morning routine is the perfect time for this.

In the morning, especially directly after waking up, our subconscious mind is much more receptive to any “reprogramming”, and these tools are perfect for doing so.

Hypnosis

If meditation is not right for you, then maybe you want to try out a guided hypnosis session. You will find many free versions on youtube, or you can buy CDs on Amazon.

Hypnosis is a great way to reprogram your subconscious mind, and there are many great programs for different topics around. I love the programs at Hyptalk. Here you can choose between a great number of high-quality hypnosis sessions to download.

Practice Gratitude & Journaling

There is hardly any better way to start a new day than with gratitude. Whether it is in the form of a gratitude list or just thinking about what you’re thankful for while brushing your teeth.

Directing your thoughts on these things is a great way to get into a positive mood right away.

Gratitude is also a very important part of becoming successful with the law of attraction and living a better and more prosperous life.

I practice gratitude several times during the day and have two “gratitude sessions “in my morning routine. First, I write into my journal all the things I’m grateful for. This is a mix of things I actually experience in my life right now and things I want to have as my future self.

Then later, when my husband Tom and I drink our coffee, we talk about all the things we are grateful for and how amazing our life is. Sharing these thoughts with another person reinforces the whole process, but also writing it into a journal, by hand, is very powerful.

But any kind of journal can really bring some value to your Law of Attraction morning routine.

Work on Your Abundance Blocks

Abundance blocks can be various things like your mindset, negative beliefs, emotions, etc. To be successful with the Law of Attraction, it is important that we face our abundance blocks. And your morning routine gives you an excellent platform to do so.

In this post here you will learn all about the individual abundance blocks, how to identify them, and how to get over them: Overcome These Common Abundance Blocks for Faster Manifesting.

Learn More About the Law of Attraction

We humans should never stop learning. Learning things stimulates our creativity, makes us more self-confident and successful.

And of course, if you want to be successful with the Law of Attraction, it makes sense to learn more about manifesting, every single day.

I’m a master manifestor and coach for many years, that’s my life, my business, and my passion. But still, I read books, listen to Youtube videos, attend workshops and take online programs whenever I find time for.

Here some More Key Elements to Make Your Morning Routine a Success

Make Your Bed

Admiral William McRaven, author of “Make Your Bed: Little Things That Can Change Your Life… And Maybe The World” explains in his book how making your bed every morning can have a positive impact on how you feel and your behavior throughout the rest of the day.

It’s all about building a habit!

Practice Self-care

Self-care is something that women often miss out on. But especially when we want to manifest success and be aligned with the Law of Attraction, a good self-care routine is important.

You have to understand that there is a strong mind-body connection, and even if it is proven that our mind controls our body (mind over machine), I still think it is important that we treat our body like our most important good.

I use my morning routine to do a short work out every day, do some stretches and foam rolls. And this really takes me to the next point.

Take an Ice Cold Shower

After my work out in the morning, I love nothing more than taking an ice-cold shower. Something I learned from “The Iceman” Wim Hof and changed my life.

You see, there are endless activities to fill your morning routine for more Law of Attraction success. It is important that you choose things that you like to do that take you further in life, and that makes your whole day more successful.

Here is a checklist with 101 ideas for your morning routine; maybe something from this list will inspire you?

5 Things You Need to Do Before You Go to Bed

Often when people talk about the importance of a morning routine and how to start one, they forget that the success of the next day starts the night before.

How you end your day determines how your next day will start. That’s why I also want to give you some tips on how you can create an evening routine that perfectly aligns with your Law of Attraction morning routine.

So here are five things you can do before you go to sleep that will make the next day super successful:

Deactivate the Snooze Button

I can’t stress this point enough, really. I never, ever in my life, used a snooze button, and I believe this is the reason why I never overslept.

Turn off the snooze option on your alarm is probably one of the best hacks you can do for a better start into the day.

Plan Out Your Day and Set Goals

There is nothing worse than lying in bed and thinking about your next day’s shopping list or that you should call your mum because you haven’t spoken to her for a while.

I guess you know this feeling?

This is actually my number one reason to struggle with my own Morning Routine, and the best way to prevent this kind of insomnia is with a little bit of journaling the night before.

Write down everything that crosses your mind, all the to-dos, and, more important, set yourself some BIG goals for the next day. It will only take 5-10 minutes but makes such a difference.

Once things are on paper, you don’t have to worry about them until the next morning when you finally start with the execution of your plans.

Put Out Your Workout Gear

Workout? Did I actually say that in combination with an early morning? Right!

Well, the early mornings are a great time to do a workout, and even if it’s only a short burst like a HITT training or a brisk walk around the block, it will help you a long way when it comes to starting the day with more energy.

Not only this, but it also creates some happy hormones that we all can use, especially this time of the day. The best way to make sure that you won’t skip your morning workout is getting all your workout gear ready the night before.

Use Powerful Affirmations

Of course, you could also use affirmations in the morning after getting up to set yourself for a perfect day. But the night before, they can actually help you sleep better and charge your batteries for the day or the week coming.

Here are my top 3 affirmations to get you ready for that next day, the night before:

I’m grateful for the experiences that the last day brought into my life.

I’m ready to take on a new successful day.

I’m looking forward to tomorrow and all the opportunities the new day will bring to me.

Want more affirmations example? Then check out this post here: 101 Positive Affirmations for Every Area of Your Life

Go to Bed 1 Hour Earlier

This is a no-brainer; you want to get up early and refreshed the next day, so you should go to bed early. Usually, during the week, for most people, this is easy, they are already tired from work.

But the Weekend is different; especially Sunday night is a tricky one. Most people don’t get up early on weekends; they sleep in. They don’t have rituals and morning routines on Saturday and Sunday, well maybe except for the grocery shopping.

And this can make it so difficult to go to bed early on a Sunday night.

While it would be great to get up early on Sunday morning, it is not a must. There is an even easier way to signal your body that you need to go to bed early and actually get tired.

Just get yourself a routine of something you enjoy and do this on Sunday afternoon. Every Sunday afternoon! Whatever you like to go to the Sauna, watch an episode of your favorite Netflix series, or play a board game with your family.

And maybe this even leaves you enough time to do some journaling. Actually, that should be point number 6 on this list. An evening journal can help you a lot with reflecting on the day and let go.

The same goes for practice some gratitude before you end your day.

You see, there are endless possibilities of activities for your morning routine and evening routine. And all can help you with practicing the Law of Attraction and your manifesting success.

Bring Your Law of Attraction Morning Routine to the Next Level

I hope this guide helped you to find out if a morning routine is right for you and how you can get started.

Don’t forget; you are in this for the long run, so you really need to choose your activities wisely so that you can keep up the motivation for your morning routine.
