Worry is an emotion that arises from the evaluation of the threat. But, as with most negative emotions, it is most of the time not rational at all. And, more importantly, negative emotions, such as worrying, are among the major abundance blocks that keep many from succeeding with the Law of Attraction.

The big question is, how can you stop worrying, to manifest more abundance? Here are eight strategies of how you can worry less to succeed more with the Law of Attraction:

  • Take Control (for the Things You Can Control)
  • See the Big Picture
  • Live in the Here and Now
  • Remember Past Situations Where You Were Worried (for Nothing)
  • Practice Gratitude
  • Journaling
  • Try NLP or Self Hypnosis
  • Expect Good Things to Happen

Worrying is a habit that we find helpful in some way, but if we are completely honest with ourselves, we know that worrying not only has a negative effect but is often totally unnecessary.

Thanks to the following strategy, you can learn to worry less in life and overcome one of the most common abundance blocker, fear, and worry.

Take Control (for the Things You Can Control)

As long as we have control over something, most of us don’t worry that much. But unfortunately, we spend far too much time worrying about things we can’t change or control.

It’s important to understand and know what you can control and use your energy there, but on the other hand, let go of things you can’t control.

Fortunately, the Law of Attraction already gives you the tools to take control of your life. You can take your future into your own hands and make your dreams come true.

But this power is limited to your own life. We can’t usually control what other people around us do, only how we perceive and react to these things. But as long as you focus more on what you can control, and less on what you can’t control, you’ll worry less overall.

See the Big Picture

When I worry about something, my husband Tom likes to remind me that we are just a small meaningless dot on the earth, and the earth is a small dot in the whole universe.

And he’s right.

Scientists believe that there are over 100 million billion stars, wow, I don’t even know how many zeros that are. Now think about how small we are, our lives, our worries, compared to the universe.

So the next time you worry about something, honestly ask yourself, compared to the rest of this world, how big is your problem or worry really?

Live in the Here and Now

Living in the here and now is so important, not just to manifest your dream life but simply to have a better life. And it also helps you to forget your worries.

Observe exactly what you are doing, reflect on your day. Keeping a journal is perfect for this. It is so important that we appreciate and enjoy our lives at every moment and that we go in us, often. Don’t think about what is in a year. So much can happen in one year.

Don’t even think about what tomorrow will be, because even in one night so much could happen.

The more you concentrate on the here and now, the less you think about the future, and the less you can worry about things that haven’t happened yet, and maybe never will.

Remember Past Situations Where You Were Worried

Although I strongly advise you to always live in the here and now, and not in your future and certainly not in your past, sometimes it helps to remember the past.

I’m sure you have worried a lot about things in your life that turned out entirely different. Am I right?

I know that this is definitely the case with me. If you think of all the things that you have worried about in the past, you will find that most of your worries were absolutely unnecessary.

Most of the things in our lives that we worry about never happen. And if they do, they’re usually not as bad as we expected. Use this knowledge to calm yourself down.

Practice Gratitude

The more grateful you are for what you already have, the less worried you are about the other things (that are not yet in your life).

Gratitude also triggers feelings of happiness, which will calm you down, thanks to a chemical reaction in your brain.

Gratitude is a habit that can be trained, the more often you practice gratitude, the more grateful you will be. And actually the more good things you attract into your life.

It is, without a doubt, a very powerful Law of Attraction tool and, in my opinion, belongs in the daily routine for everyone who is serious about manifesting.

Journal About Your Worries

As I already mentioned in the third point, journaling is an excellent tool for self-reflection and, therefore great, when you want to worry less. I journal every morning and almost every evening.

I have a golden rule when it comes to my journal; in my journal, the world is perfect. There is neither negativity nor fear, nor is there room for any doubt. When I am journaling, I am 100% the dreamer and let nothing else in.

And if I have to write out my worries, as sometimes this just makes it easier to let go, then I either write them down on a sheet of paper, which I then demonstratively tear apart, or I positively reformulate everything.

Try it out; I can tell you journaling is better than therapy.

Try NLP or Self Hypnosis

I love to use techniques like Hypnosis to overcome worries and other emotional blocks.

You can also re-train your brain with NLP. NLP techniques are an excellent way to re-program your subconscious mind. With one of these exercises, I was able to get over my fear of flying.

As an NLP coach, I have used these techniques for all kinds of problems and abundance blocks with my clients, and it is an essential part of my advanced manifesting course.

In fact, I added a lot of NLP exercises to my advanced manifesting training (including my bestselling manifesting book, a coaching workbook, and NLP audio bonus exercises.)

Expect Good Things to Happen

The nice thing about the Law of Attraction and manifesting is that you “order” positive and good things and therefore expect them to arrive.

And that’s also important if we want to worry less because you can’t worry if you expect a positive outcome.

If you always think that everything will turn out negative, then, of course, you worry more, and to top it all off, you start to actually attract the negative stuff.

By the way, if you want to know how you can bring more positivity into your life, I recommend my blog post “create your own happiness” – with currently over 69’600 shares (woohoo, I love my readers!) this is the most shared post on my manifesting blog.

And with good reason! Being happy (and worry less) is so important, not only for manifesting, but basically if you want to have a better life in general.

So check out this post and learn how you can create your own happiness. And if you like it, please share it with your friends, let’s see if we can make it over 100K shares, shall we?

Spread the happiness (and worry less!)
